East German Salad – so delicious I made it twice in one week!
Some dishes are so simple and so successful that you just want to make them again and again.
This East German salad is one of them: fresh, creamy, flavorful, and ready in minutes!
Perfect for a light lunch, as a side dish, or for a summer dinner.
Ingredients:
¼ cucumber,
½ slice cooked ham,
½ can of corn and peas,
70g pasta,
½ apple,
½ onion,
½ bell pepper,
200ml heavy cream,
1 tablespoon vinegar,
1 teaspoon oil,
1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and let it cool.
Finely chop the vegetables and ham: apple, onion, bell pepper, cucumber, and ham. Combine them in a large salad bowl with the corn and peas.
Prepare the dressing by whisking together the oil, vinegar, sour cream, and mustard.
Add the pasta to the salad and gently toss with the dressing until all the ingredients are well coated.
And there you have it! In just a few minutes, you have a delicious, fresh salad that everyone will love.
Tip:
For an even more intense flavor, chill the salad in the refrigerator for half an hour.
